Dele Alli speaks out on his new Tottenham role under Nuno[/b] Dele Alli's Tottenham struggles Dele Alli has had a quite spectacular fall from grace over the last few years. The 25-year-old was once one of the brightest English talents in football and looked set for a superb career. However, over the last two or so years, Alli's form has fallen off a cliff. It started at the back end of Mauricio Pochettino's reign and, barring a brief upturn right as Jose Mourinho took over, continued all the way through the Portuguese's stint as well. Granted, Mourinho did often bench Alli so he didn't get much of a chance to prove himself. But at the back end of last season when Mourinho was gone and this term under Nuno Espirito Santo, Alli has once again not shown anywhere near his best. This is not the position we saw him in when he was bagging in the goals and assists for Spurs. That position was the no.10 spot, with Alli going on to form a superb partnership with Harry Kane when used in that role. Now, Alli has been discussing his new role under Nuno. But, whilst it is fairly new for Spurs fans, Alli insists he enjoys playing in it and he had been used in this position before he signed for the Lilywhites. "Number eight is a position I enjoy playing. It's not something that's new to me though. "When I signed here, I had never played in the number 10 role. So, for me, it is quite natural to play there, and I enjoy being there. "I think when you're with a team like Tottenham, you're happy to be anywhere on the pitch so wherever I play, I will do my best and hopefully that's enough." Latest tips here jackpot soccer tip
